About the Game
Memory for Chimps is inspired by the incredible memory abilities of chimpanzees, particularly Ayumu. This young chimp demonstrated extraordinary working memory capabilities, often outperforming humans in rapid-sequence memory tasks.
Test your own memory by remembering sequences of numbers on a grid, just like Ayumu does. Can you match a chimp's cognitive abilities?
How to Play
Tap the tiles in order to repeat the sequence of numbers. The sequence will get longer as you progress. The game saves your progress as you complete each level.
Levels and Unlocking
As you complete a level, the next two levels will be unlocked. You may play any unlocked level from the Levels screen.
Scoring
- 1 banana chip for completion
- 2 banana chips for < 1.2s per target
- 3 banana chips for < 1s per target
Your times will be visible on the Levels screen. Retry any level for a new personal best.
Skips and Progress
Start with three skips, earn more as you complete sections. If a level is too challenging, use the Settings screen to skip it.
Want to start over? Use the Settings screen to Clear All Progress and restore your original three skips.
Test Your Memory
Watch carefully as numbers appear on the grid, then repeat the sequence from memory.
Quick Reactions
Tap the tiles in the correct order as fast as you can to earn more banana chips!
Progressive Difficulty
Face increasingly challenging patterns as you advance through the levels.
